Victoria’s Secret Radiance

The Victoria’s Secret Angels are known for their amazing bodies, fabulous hair and of course, radiant complexions. By adding a few key products to your makeup bag, that “I woke up like this” glow can be easily achieved. Our Make-Up Educator Amelda Webster shows us how.

Step 1

For VS girls it’s all about that base. Nothing says supermodel like sun-kissed skin and faking it easy. Apply Soleil Tan de Chanel with clean fingers as your makeup base to give you that I-just-got-back-from-the-Maldives look without the sun damage, as well as helping your foundation stay on for longer.

Step 2

Unlike VS Angels, most of us mere mortals need some form of coverage but the key is to choose a foundation that makes the skin look like skin, not a mask. Lancome Teint Miracle Skin Perfecting foundation is one of my favourites for providing great coverage and instant radiance, plus the water based formula feels heavenly.

Step 3

We might not be under the bright lights of the catwalk, but still need our foundation to go the distance so setting with powder is a must. Dry, cakey powders will flatten the complexion so opt for radiant powders such as Lancome Teint Miracle Loose Powder which is a “natural light creator” that sets foundation while maintaining luminosity.

Step 4

For the final touch, sweep an illuminator with a powder brush where the sun naturally “kisses” your face…forehead, top of the cheekbones, the nose and chin. MAC Mineralise Skinfinish in Global Glow is the perfect tan shade with frosted golden highlights to add angelic radiance.

To watch all the fabulousness and creativity of the Victoria’s Secret Show –  tune in on Fox 8 on December 11 at 7.30 p.m. EST to watch the girls strut their stuff!
