What is a Student Ambassador?
Our Student Ambassadors represent and assist The French in a range of activities, events and acts of goodwill and community service to help contribute to the amazing French student experience that we are famous for. This program helps build a fun and nurturing life on campus, and engaging student experience all while contributing positively to the local community – something we are very passionate about here at The French.
From helping with Academy events and on campus activities, to organising charity drives, raising awareness for causes and representing The Academy in the wider community, our Student Ambassador Committee is made up of passionate and committed FRENCHIES – and you can be one too!
Becoming a Student Ambassador not only better positions you for employment, but also helps further develop your confidence, communication and leadership skills and experience!
You’ll be learning more about our Student Ambassadors and how you can become one on your first week at The French.
An important part of becoming a student ambassador, and one of the most rewarding tasks is the work we do within our local communities and with our charity partners (RizeUp and Captivating). Our beautiful ambassadors happily donate their time to assist with various jobs like organising charity events and donation raffles, charity bake sales and offering beauty services to our beloved community. From relaxing massages to our front line working nurses to beauty treatments to our local age care homes. Our ambassadors spread their love and light beyond our campuses.
Ambassadors help build a fun and nurturing life on campus and inspire all students to feel welcome and supported. Our Ambassadors are responsible for the creative ideas and management of on campus events. Whether they are for charity fundraising or social mixers for students, it’s a really fun way to get everyone together, make new friends and have a laugh.
“One of my favourite parts about studying was making some incredible friendships with some of my classmates that I know I will have forever. You become so close with your class and build so much trust and support with one another. I also loved having the opportunity to become a student ambassador and get involved in so many fun and exciting additional activities on campus like our 5K charity walk and decorating the campus at Christmas time.”
