This year, we proudly hosted our first Futures for Frenchies Job Fair, a significant event bridging the gap between world-class education and employment opportunities on campus.
The Job Fair brought recruiters from 12 esteemed Employment Partners from a range of diverse beauty businesses and brands to campus. Over 240 students engaged in interviews with recruiters conducting real job interviews for esteemed positions in their companies. Notably, just over 100 students triumphed in securing second-round interviews, positioning themselves for exciting career opportunities before graduation!
The Job Fair was complemented with enriching Advanced Workshops held over 4 days at our Brisbane and Adelaide campuses. Students could select up to 3 workshops across Skin Therapies and Laser Light and Frequency Therapies where they gained practical experience and enhanced their understanding in specialised study areas. These workshops provide a hands-on introduction to skills in high demand and covered notable topics such as epidermal resurfacing (chemical peels) with Dermaceutic, skin tightening with dynamic muscle stimulation with TriLift, microneeding (collagen induction therapy skin needling) with Dermapen, laser hair reduction with Candela and IPL skin rejuvenation with the Sciton BBL Hero.
Each participating student received a certificate of completion to acknowledge their dedication, which they can proudly showcase during their graduation. This recognition not only celebrates their commitment to expanding their expertise but also adds a competitive edge as they step into their professional journeys.
