WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
We’ve partnered with the most cutting edge devices and technologies to give our students exposure to the following skin technologies and treatments.
Micro-needling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a skincare treatment that involves the use of a device with fine needles to create tiny punctures in the skin. Micro-needling promotes collagen production is based on the concept of micro-trauma. When the skin is punctured with the fine needles, it triggers a healing response in the body. As part of this response, the body begins to produce new collagen in the area to repair the "injury."
Designed to work without chemicals, heat, or stress —SkinPen uses fine needles to create micro-openings in the skin that naturally remodel the skin. This minimally invasive treatment significantly improves the appearance of acne scars and neck wrinkles.
SkinPen’s microneedles pierce the skin, increasing blood flow. Immune cells work to clean and disinfect the area, setting the stage for repair. This stage helps prepare the skin to rebuild with fresh, healthy cells.
While surgical procedures like facelifts may sound like a good idea to some, the new triLift technology provides a painless, non-invasive procedure with no downtime to achieve similar results!
triLift by Lumenis is the first treatment in the market to use Dynamic Muscle Stimulation (DMSt) for a lifted complexion, resurfaces the skin for a smoothened texture, and plumps the underlying cell structure by stimulating the production of collagen and elastin.
Epidermal resurfacing is a type of treatment that involves the removal of the outer layers of the skin to improve its texture and tone, as well as reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and acne scars, making them a highly effective way to rejuvenate the skin and enhance its overall appearance.
Learning with leading chemical peel brand, Dermaceutic, students will learn the art of performing professional grade chemical peel treatments.
There is an overwhelming demand for industry-ready graduates familiar with the latest aesthetic treatments, devices and modalities. We have partnered with the biggest names in skin and device technologies to create a series of showcase workshops and sessions that give our students exposure to and understanding of trending skin treatments and therapies. During these sessions our skin-obsessed therapists who have a passion for the skin can explore the latest advancements in aesthetic technologies and treatments presented by global leaders.
