“ Be kind to everyone you meet; you never know when or where you may see them again. It takes a long time to build a good reputation and one moment to destroy it…” Rosie Huntington-Whiteley
With her fresh-faced honey skin, sandy blonde tousled hair and synonymous pout, she’s the British Angel we covet for her effortless style and red-carpet glamour.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley – supermodel, screen siren, Victoria’s Secret Angel and it seems all round beauty. With a modelling career which began at 16, having been featured in the Pirelli Calandar and worked for the likes of Burberry, Vogue, Ralph Lauren (and probably every other major fashion house you can think of), it’s fair to say Rosie Huntington-Whiteley may know a thing or two about beauty.
With an Instagram feed that scrolls like a fashion editorial meets a behind the scenes look at her everyday life, these are the things Rosie is reminding us about beauty….
Beauty begins within…
“Beauty shines from within. Everyone is beautiful when they have a smile on their face and they’re being kind to each other.” (RHW via Bodyandsoul.com.au)
A wisdom and philosophy shared with The French Beauty Academy and our motto etre bien dans sa peau (to become comfortable in your own skin). When we read this quote we fell in love with Rosie a little more.

Remember to remove your make-up before bed!
It’s the golden rule we’ve heard from our mums, our sisters and our beauty educators one hundred times over, but if Rosie can do it so can we!
“I make sure to always remove my make up before I go to bed. I cleanse, tone and moisturize at least twice daily. I use an SPF in the morning and a light moisturizer in the evening before bed. I don’t tend to do well with heavy creams, but everyone is different. It’s important to find out what works for you. Facials are a key part of my beauty regime, as well as drinking a lot of water and getting good sleep. I use a retinol cream a couple times a week by my aesthetician Shani Darden. It’s great for fine lines, scars and acne. Jo Malone is one of my favorite companies for fragrance and candles; Red Roses is my signature scent.” (via The Coveteur)

She’s not afraid of some old fashion classic glamour
Exuding that red-lip classic glamour that never goes out of fashion on the red-carpet, Rosie style awakens the romance of old-Hollywood. Whether she’s wearing it on her lips or her dress, red is definitely her colour and a reminder that sometimes classic is best.
“Red is my power colour” I love red. I’m drawn to it. I feel great when I’m wearing it. It’s a sexy, confident colour. But it’s got to be a deep powerful shade” (via Net-a-Porter, The Edit)

Glamour Can Take A Day Off
Being red carpet ready 100% of the time is hard work. While her event looks have us all wanting to dress up, it’s her everyday effortless style and wholesome girl next door looks that we most aspire to.
“I’m not very patient when I have to get ready for something personal, so I usually do minimal make-up and hair. I always wash and dry my hair, a little mascara, a smudge of eyeliner and a little blush on the cheeks and brow bone. For work and special events I let the experts take over!”
