From The French to cruising the Caribbean
One of our beautiful alumni, Chloe Russell was selected out of thousands of applicants to work for Steiner Leisure, which has allowed her to secure her dream job in beauty while travelling around the world on the high seas. Steiner Leisure, is one of our industry partners that we have a long-standing relationship which offers exciting beauty career pathways. Steiner operates the world’s largest six star spas with a global portfolio that includes 148 cruise ship spas on luxury liners operating worldwide. Through The French Beauty Academy’s industry partnerships, our students have a number of exclusive career opportunities that open doors across every corner of the globe
Every year Steiner conducts interviews right here at our Robina campus, giving The French Beauty Academy students unprecedented priority. Chloe has shared with us her journey so far and we are beyond proud of the hard work and success our French beauty has achieved in such a short time.
Chloe attended The French as one of our Online Diploma of Beauty Therapy Students and her adventure to London started off on a high when she was upgraded to business class for free. Everyday she catches the bus to school starting at 8am and finishing at 5:30pm. She then completes a minimum of 2 hours study a night. On her limited days off she ventures into the beautiful city of London, exploring and taking in sights. This hard work has paid off as Chloe scored 100% on her facial exam and has passed all of her theory which included deep tissue and bamboo massage as well as an array of facial and eye massage routines.
She has been selected to be not only a facial specialist but an Elemis Bio tech facial specialist. Only 3 therapists were chosen out of 60, 2 being French Beauty Academy alumni. The Elemis biotech facial machinery is brand new and due to launch in January next year, and our Chloe will be the only one on board performing this treatment. She has been assigned the P & O Britannia working within the Oasis Spa on route to Barbados! She will be sailing all around the Caribbean, Western Mediterranean (France, Portugal, Italy, Spain etc) and the Norwegian Fjords!
Chloe has this to say about her amazing adventure so far, “What a journey the past 6 weeks have been! I have learnt so so much, made friends for life and realised to appreciate a lot of things I once took for granted. Today, I was lucky enough to receive my details, next week I will be flying to Barbados to join the P&O Britannia. In the next 9 months I’ll be travelling through the Caribbean, Western Mediterranean, the Canary Islands, Norwegian Fjords and more. I am still pinching myself at this amazing opportunity and I wouldn’t be where I am right now without my amazing family and my beautiful mentors/teachers back at home. I am so blessed and forever grateful for everything every single one of you have ever done for me. Sending all my love! Barbados, here I come!”
Samantha Power (another French beauty) is also an Elemis biotec facial specialist. She will be flying into Sydney to start 6 months of sailing around Australia, then 3 months around Alaska.
Sams journey will take her around America bound to Holland.
We are so proud of both our girls and cant wait to see what the future holds for both of you. This is just one of the many rewarding and exciting beauty career pathways available to our students.
