The French Beauty Academy has joined forces with Dr Shobhan Manoharan of Dermatology Clinics Australia and Dermatology Education officially as the first in our“Industry Expert ” series in our pioneering flagship program ‘The Future of Beauty’. Dr Manoharan is accompanied by the biggest names in skin and device technologies as we continue our quest of delivering the most cutting-edge skin-focused curriculum, ensuring our French graduates are skilled for the beauty jobs of tomorrow.
Dr Manoharan will be delivering lectures across all 3 campuses in advanced and complex skin conditions, with students learning directly from Dr Manoharan on how to recognise and when to refer clients in clinic. Advanced educational units written and developed by Dr Manoharan will also be integrated into the Future of Beauty curriculum, making this a first of its kind in the vocational educational training sector.
As one of Australia’s leading laser dermatologists, he specialises in the use of energy based devices for both medical and cosmetic dermatology. Actively involved in education, Dr Manoharan has a major role in the training of dermatologists and dermatology registrars, junior doctors, general practitioners, pharmacists and medical students in all aspects of dermatology.
Last year, Shobhan and his wife, Managing Director Patricia Manoharan launched Dermatology Clinics Australia which are specialist medical clinics aimed at treating chronic skin conditions, such as Psoriasis, Vitiligo and Eczema. These clinics will ease the burden of access to specialist dermatologists in rural and remote areas, no doubt changing the lives of many sufferers. Dr Manoharan will also provide exclusive employment opportunities to successful French graduates where they will continue their learning and develop their passion in advanced skin treatments across both aesthetic and medical fields.
“We are honoured to have Dr Manoharan partner with us in providing incredible learning and career opportunities to our students. As one of Australia’s leading Dermatologists, his support will provide students with never before access to advanced dermal knowledge within vocational learning and I am delighted to witness how this will elevate our student’s knowledge and career outcomes post graduation,”says Managing Director, Luke French.
“I am privileged to share my knowledge and expertise with the next generation of skin therapists and to partner with The French as they continue to create incredible learning and career pathways for their students. We are passionate about education and look forward to working with The French to ensure our future industry leaders are inspired and have incredible opportunities available to them.“ said Dr Shobhan Manoharan.
