At The French we are passionate about arming school students with the opportunities and skills required to kickstart their career in the beauty industry alongside their schooling commitments.
Our School Engagement program is available in both QLD and South Australia and supports students to develop knowledge and apply skills directly relevant to a future career pathway. Through our Vocational Education Pathways students also have exclusive opportunities for early offers and direct entry into our post-school qualification programs.
Students can complete a nationally recognised vocational qualification and a senior school certificate at the same time – developing employability and industry-specific skills. They can go directly into employment or receive credit towards further vocational training.
Certificate programs available and school year of study varies from state to state. The French offers
SHB20121 CERTIFICATE II IN RETAIL COSMETICS in both South Australia and Queensland.
Our South Australian students also have the opportunity to complete the following stackable VET courses.

We invite school group visits at our 3 campus locations, where your students can experience exactly what a day in the life of a Frenchie involves!
Students are immersed in our student life through a variety of sessions specifically designed to inform and inspire their future career opportunities.
The French have developed a series of look and learn beauty tutorials specifically designed to educate students on skincare, presentation as well as basic career preparation tips, that we are able to deliver directly to your students in school.
They are offered free of charge and can be coordinated to help fill a gap in your teaching or careers information schedule.

Our Student Advisors would love to attend and share their knowledge with Studenton the $500 billion dollar global beauty industry with students considering a career in beauty.
If you have a student interested in our VET Program, reach out to our Schools Engagement team (below).
Our team will share a schools consent form with you. This will need to be completed and returned with the Students USI.
Our team will contact the student to arrange a course application interview. If they wish to study, the student will need to complete a commitment to enrol form.
Enrolled students must attend a Parent Information session or independent campus tour before eligible to commence classes.

Stackable VET – Introduction to Make-Up:
The course is timetabled one day per week for 6 weeks and follows the South Australia Secondary School term, with intakes each term. Class hours are 9am-3:00pm – 65 nominal hours:

The course is timetabled one day per week for 36 weeks and follows the QLD School Term Timetable Class hours are 9am – 3pm one day per week with intakes twice per year 4 QCE points Advanced Beauty Services

The course is timetabled one day per week for 36 weeks and follows the South Australia Secondary School Term.
Class hours are 9am – 4pm one day per week with intakes twice per year
75 SACE points Stage 1 525 nominal hours
