WHY EMSCULPT?

Like you, we’ve been inundated with the before and after photos all over Instagram. The growing consumer demand for non-surgical body sculpting treatments is exactly why we have partnered with industry leading device Emsculpt, to ensure our students receive the most relevant training for the beauty jobs of tomorrow. The global innovators, BTL Aesthetics have grown to become one of the largest producers of aesthetic equipment in the world, with direct offices in more than 70 countries. A market leader in non-invasive body shaping, there are more than 6,200 providers worldwide. In one of the fastest-growing segments of aesthetic medicine, there has never been a better time to study skin therapies and body contouring techniques.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Emsculpt is a cutting-edge, body shaping therapy that works to increase muscle mass while decreasing fat. Emsculpt uses high-intensity focused electromagnetic energy to induce supramaximal contractions that are not possible with voluntary muscle contraction. Oh and it gets better, there’s no downtime.

A single Emsculpt session generates thousands of powerful muscle contractions, which are critical in improving the clients’ muscle tone and strength. These induced muscle contractions are very intense, and the muscle tissue is thus forced to adapt to such extreme conditions. Muscle tissue responds by deep remodelling of its inner structure, resulting in muscle building and body sculpting. The Emsculpt procedure feels like an intensive workout, but you can lie down and relax throughout the duration! The results speak for themselves – popular areas of treatments include abdomen, arms, inner thighs and the buttocks.

"The technology induces 20,000 supramaximal muscle contractions not achievable through voluntary contractions—compared to doing 20,000 full contraction crunches or squats in 1 session”
- Dr Frank MD
