The French Beauty Academy and Wesfarmers are proud to create a dedicated education and employment pathway for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students who aspire to build a career in the beauty and aesthetics industry.
The Wesfarmers Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Future of Beauty Scholarship has been designed to help remove practical, financial and wellbeing-related barriers that may make it difficult for First Nations students to commence, participate in and successfully complete their studies.
Four scholarships are available each year, with one recipient selected at each of The French Beauty Academy’s Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast and Adelaide campuses.
Each recipient will receive up to $5,000 in practical study support, together with a guaranteed employment opportunity with Wesfarmers following successful completion of the Future of Beauty Dual Diploma, subject to the recipient meeting applicable employment and work-readiness requirements.
The scholarship is built around flexibility, responsiveness and dignity. Support will be tailored to the individual needs of each recipient, helping them focus on their education, personal development and future career.
Scholarship value: Up to $5,000 in practical and participation support for each successful recipient.
Employment pathway: Each recipient will receive a guaranteed employment opportunity with Wesfarmers following successful completion of the Future of Beauty Dual Diploma, subject to applicable employment, work-readiness and pre-employment requirements.
