Working with leading brands like MAC Cosmetics, you will build upon your foundation skills and develop a portfolio of day, business, evening and bridal looks. You’ll advance your skills into specialist applications such as air-brushing, photographic makeup and cosmetic camouflage.

 

This course offers a strong fashion focused curriculum, including learning looks for runway, editorial beauty, as well as period and avant-garde couture. Combined with units in business and customer service, you will gain the necessary skills to establish yourself as a sought-after freelance makeup artist or for an exciting career with major cosmetic houses.

Industry experience is recommended but not a requirement of this course. Students will have the opportunity to meet industry experts like our connections with the New York Film Academy and through invitations to our product knowledge days, guest speaker events and our twice-yearly Education Symposium.

  • Career Outcomes

Some units completed as part of the Certificate II can be credited towards a higher level Certificate or Diploma of Beauty Therapy.
