Vet Student Loans

The VET Fee Help Funding scheme ceased on December 31 2016 and was replaced with a new VET funding model named VET Student Loans.

Studies commenced after January 2017  fall under the new VET Student Loan scheme. Under this scheme eligible students are able to access a loan for the SHB50115 Diploma of Beauty Therapy. Remaining fees are able to be paid through an up front payment or a payment plan.

More information on the new program and the transition from VET FEE-HELP is available on the Department of Education’s website. This includes fact sheets on applying to participate in VET Student Loans, and arrangements for current VET FEE-HELP students.

Please Note: VET Student Loans will not be approved for students who do not meet eligibility requirements. A VET student loan gives rise to a HELP debt that continues to be a debt to the Commonwealth until it is repaid.
