The French Beauty Academy and Southern Cross University (SCU) have developed an exciting, industry-first arrangement where students will be able to complete a Bachelor of Business, furthering management aspirations for graduates in the spa and wellness industry. Our current arrangement with the University, provides credit for the Diploma of Beauty Therapy (one semester), towards a Bachelor of Business in Tourism and Hospitality Management. As part of our arrangement, Southern Cross University plans to developing a new major in Spa and Wellness Management as an exciting new pathway for The French Beauty Academy students commencing in 2017.
Students will also have the exciting opportunity to do an international exchange in their second year of study with one of SCU’s international exchange partners. SCU also supports our students in securing internships during term breaks at hotel, spa and resort chains, which can also be credited towards their business degree.
For students who have already completed a Diploma of Beauty, an undergraduate degree at an approved institution, or have extensive work experience, SCU offers entry into a Graduate Certificate in Tourism and Hotel Management.

We are proud to work with the French Beauty Academy to develop pathways for those who wish to continue on to university. Our business degrees provide students the opportunity to develop their business, technical, management and interpersonal skills. The global demand for tourism, spa and wellness managers continues to grow, and graduates from this program will have the highly sought after combination of technical knowledge and practice and business acumen required by leading hotels and spas around the world.

We also have a formal agreement with Victoria University in Melbourne, which recognises The Academy’s Diploma of Beauty Therapy as the equivalent of first year studies towards a Bachelor of Health Science (Dermal Therapies).
